In the crisp Nordic air of 2023, the seeds of our game studio were sown by two kindred spirits, Chris and Maria. Along with a group of childhood friends who shared a deep passion for fantasy literature, roleplaying games, and the enchanting world of folklore, we embarked on a journey of creativity, adventure, and friendship. However, our creative journey started many years ago…
A shared love for folk rock music, weaved together by the melodies of our band Elvarhøi, became the fertile ground where our creative collaboration took root. It was within this harmonious blend of friendship and artistic expression that the inspiration for our games sprouted. We are more than just a team; we are a family of storytellers, dreamers, and creators, all bound by the magic of shared adventures and a desire to craft unforgettable experiences.

At Ancient Well Entertainment, we’re on a quest to deliver games within the fantasy genre that are ignited by a profound love for authentic storytelling and a deep sense of awe inspired by the tales of the North. While we adore the timeless fantasy of authors like Tolkien, our hearts beat with a unique love for the myths and stories that have surrounded us while growing up in the lands of Norway and Sweden.
